Restore and Breathe
with Simone, Peta and Tracey,
on Sunday afternoons in winter
>> 5 July with Simone
>> 19 July with Peta
>> 9 August with Tracey
>> 3-5pm each day
>> in studio or online
Immerse yourself in a quiet and spacious two hour restorative session based on BKS Iyengar’s Emotional Stability sequence. This sequence comprises supported poses that place the head below the heart, bringing fresh blood to the glands in the throat, nourishing the nervous system and creating space in the chest. It finishes with a generous segment dedicated to pranayama. A good way to spend winter Sunday afternoons…get yourself some rest, go inwards and find the satisfaction of being quiet and fully present with yourself. For students with at least 1 year Iyengar experience including inversions or their modifications. If unsure ask your teacher.
Cost: $30 per class (same price in studio or online)

Plexus 2
with Stephanie Quirk
>> Saturday 29 August
>> 1.00-5.00pm
>> in studio and online
We will be looking into the region that pertains to the Brachial plexus…a complex region that holds the arms, the shoulders and the skeletal armature that gives access to the chest and neck and, consequently, the throat, lungs, heart and thyroid glands. With our arms we hold the new born baby, we write and compose music, we design and we play.
Suitable for practitioners with a minimum of 3 years Iyengar yoga experience.
This is a hybrid event: Can be attended in studio or online. Recordings will be available for all registered participants for 2 weeks after the event.

Making Time for Backbends
with Peta Keaney
>> Monday 5 October 2026 (Public Holiday)
>> 8.30-11.00am
>> in studio
Come and work into backbends with plenty of time on this public holiday…time to warm up, time to work methodically and at your own pace into the back and front body, time to explore and work collaboratively, time to wind down and time to recover. Time to experience the true joy of backbends!
‘Backbends keep the body vital and agile, and make the mind fresh, joyful and light. Backbends are uplifting and induce optimism and joy; ..hence they are useful antidotes to gloominess, pessimism, depression and despair. They help us to age gracefully and retain our clarity and good spirits’. Eyal Shifroni
Suitable for General level students with at least 12 months Iyengar yoga experience.
Cost: $50.

The Bali Retreat
>> October 17-25, 2026 in Ubud
>> With Suzi Chin Silicz
This will be the 10th retreat Suzi will teach in Bali. Last year yogis gathered from around Australia and overseas. A wonderful testimony to the community that yoga builds over time.
The Bali retreat is thoughtfully planned so there is time to focus on yoga, being on retreat and taking a break. Arrive Saturday October 17th for the Sunday morning start. The retreat concludes Sunday, October 25th by 12 noon.
The Yoga sessions are held in a covered open air space which is exclusively our shala for the week. It has a cool floor and looks out onto tropical gardens. The morning sessions start with a guided meditation followed by yoga asana class. Later in the afternoons we gather again for restorative yoga or pranayama.
The retreat is for anyone who has at least 2 years of current yoga experience to more experienced practitioners.
The venue is a boutique villa style property situated within a jungle atmosphere and within easy walking distance into Ubud central. The unique balinese style rooms are nestled in tropical gardens, some overlook the valley, others look out on to the gardens. There is also an open air dining room and swimming pool. We can also stay in the sister hotel across the road, a 5 minute walk from where we do yoga. It has gorgeous gardens, a swimming pool and spa. Ubud is the cultural and arts centre of Bali. There are many places of interest to visit or spend free time during the days and evenings just relaxing.
The retreat includes: all yoga tuition, 8 nights accommodation, & breakfast, transfers, welcome dinner, cultural day activity & more.
